Waves

Based on the same principle as in the series "Primordial Shapes". Simple geometric or organic shapes in an overlapping composition that births complexities and dynamics. Dynamics that points to vibrations in a variation of frequencies, creating new perspective and horizons of understanding. Energy in the form of colour, shapes and light. Named Waves as in Wavelengths, as it can be read as sound or light. Like a tuning fork or tone that the viewer can calibrate with. Tune in and come into harmony (song) with that which wants to express itself.

In the Vedic tradition the word/sound/vibration AUM is a holy symbol that the Hindu mythology holds accountable for creating the Universe. When sounding A U M, the life-giving breath begins with total openness to finally close completely at the end, holding all that is. The Christian texts in turn, refers to the Greek letters Alpha and Omega, the beginning and end of the Greek alphabet as encompassing all that is/God. The vibration of sound, letters and language here serves as the primal force in creating new worlds..
