Jessica Eldenstjärna (b. 1979, Sweden) is a Stockholm-based artist working primarily with painting, extending into moving image, sound and participatory formats. She studied Fine Art and Illustration at Southampton Solent University, England 2000-2003
Her work explores states of perception, inner landscapes and the relationship between structure and flow. Through layered processes, she develops visual languages that move between the intuitive and the precise, where abstract and organic forms intersect with symbolic and spatial elements.
With a background in body- and art-based psychotherapy and long-term engagement with contemplative practices and cross-cultural spiritual traditions, her work approaches image-making as both a perceptual and experiential field.
Alongside her studio practice, Eldenstjärna develops artistic formats for participation, reflection and shared experience. These engagements extend her work into collective and site-responsive contexts, exploring the relationship between inner perception, meaning-making, and external expression.
Working across institutions, organizations and independent settings, she facilitates experiences ranging from keynote lectures and guided sessions to experiential, participatory works where the audience becomes an active part of the process. Rooted in presence and interaction, these works aim to open spaces for attention, resonance and new ways of thinking, supporting creative awareness, perceptual shifts and processes of insight. Developed and presented in collaboration with a range of contexts, including: Moderna Museet, H&M, Deloitte, Barncancerfonden and Institutet för framtidsstudier

Her work has been exhibited in Sweden and internationally, including presentations in Stockholm and Paris, and is held in both private and public collections.
